Canon EOS Digital Hello!
You can purchase both types of ink. It will be in each ink cartridge universal and is cheap. Specific ink cartridge is more expensive and is good for color matching. Kits are available for refilling cartridge. Kit tend to come with ink, a small drill to expand ventilation holes and an instrument of needles and syringes. You can add your kit and paper towels latex gloves.

1
Un-clip the print cartridge holder in the printer and remove the cartridge. Place the cartridge on a newspaper and remove the top label from the cartridge. Use a hobby scalpel to remove the label.

Make the small vent holes in each cartridge a bit bigger by using the drill device that came in the kit. Just insert the spike in the hole and wiggle it around a bit.

Fill the syringe with 3 ml of ink. That’s per color. Black takes 10 ml, but it’s a different cartridge.

Insert the syringe in the correct hole. Magenta is on its own at the top; cyan and yellow are adjacent to each other.

Slowly fill the tank. Allow air to escape from the hole while you do this.

Repeat with the other colors and let the cartridge settle for five minutes.

Replace the cartridge in the printer. Unlike many other cartridges you don’t replace the label with this cartridge. It needs the hole to vent.

Disable the ink status monitor by pressing the cancel/resume button when the prompt comes up on your screen.

Perform a nozzle check and clean. The nozzle check is in the printer maintenance tab of your printer driver. From the “Start” button, go to “Printers & Faxes.” Right click on the printer listed and choose “Properties.” You’ll find options for the printer, and in the maintenance tab you’ll see a nozzle check and a clean option. Run those two functions.
